In our previous issue, we discussed about effectively communicating with your Facebook fans. In this issue, we are going to talk about using Facebook marketing to present value to your prospective buyers and customers.
Are you aware that half of all Facebook users visit their profiles everyday? This signifies that with around 500 Million users of Facebook, over 250 Million are able to view your page.
Think of the large number of people that your online business can reach. That can equate to tons of dollars in sales and more work opportunities that you can actually get a chance to be involved in.
However, not all business pages on Facebook are effective when it comes to attracting customers. You’ll need to tweak and test your page until it reaps a satisfactory result.
Despite the fact that it is primarily considered a social networking site, it would also do the company good to examine first what impression they want to give in their page.
Do you want your business to raise a corporate awareness among people on Facebook?
Do you want to add a touch of fun and excitement which will appeal to your target market?
Or are you just looking to create a community with which all questions and other concerns of your customers can be resolved?
It’s important that you always regard value as your top priority whenever posting anything on your page. Avoid posting dull or unnecessary things. This means fighting off the urge to post personal content or even things that seem fascinating but aren’t valuable to your audience.
Here are some other helpful hints you may find useful:
Use Customer Testimonials
It used to be that people who want to keep up with their families and friends would just have to visit their Facebook profile page, view photos, send messages and the like. At present, social media management presents numerous rewards to business owners. You can persuade prospects by using testimonials from your current customers or clients. So, strongly encourage past clients to write their feedback on Facebook. Of course, you would most appreciate highly constructive feedback if given voluntarily. Still, this may not always be the case depending on the value of your products or services. So offer incentives, give out prizes or hold a contest. For instance, how about a 5% discount for every constructive feedback?
- Personally Communicate With Potential Clients or Customers
If there are questions about your products or services, make sure you politely accommodate those concerns. Also, you’ll earn a good impression by answering the inquiries very timely. In case this is not possible, at least apologize for the late response.
To help you with answering questions, you should also hold as much information in your Landing Page (or your Profile Page). You can use the Notes section for this or other similar applications on Facebook.
- Post Relevant Pictures
Some use the Photos Page while others make pseudo-shops where they feature their products. Whatever you choose, just be sure the images are shown clearly. Presenting photos that look dull and uninteresting won’t appeal to prospects. So be mindful in choosing those. For instance, if you have a jewelry business, you can promote it on Facebook by posting photos that feature the intricate designs of your jewelry pieces.
Don’t forget these simple suggestions when coming up with content and you’ll have a good deal of prospects arriving to your business page.
